Rachel McGregor (MAPS) is a registered psychologist and behaviour analyst (CBAU) with over 16 years of experience helping clients of all ages and backgrounds. She has experience consulting in a variety of settings across Sydney, London and Melbourne. Rachel is known for her warm and compassionate approach, which helps clients feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

BIO
Rachel completed her Psychology studies at Macquarie University in Sydney. She is both a Psychologist and a Behaviour Analyst (CBAU) and provides therapy and support for individuals. Rachel utilises effective therapeutic approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and uses these approaches to help clients identify and change patterns and behaviours that may be impacting their wellbeing and functioning. She operates within a trauma-informed practice model and incorporates this within sessions. Therapy is powerful to help individuals achieve their goals and live happier, more fulfilling lives.
Rachel is skilled in behaviour analysis and this approach encourages detailed assessment of difficult patterns of behaviour and specific strategies to overcome personal challenges. She has extensive experience working with neuro-diverse individuals and their families, including ASD and ADHD. Rachel provides parent consultation and counselling support for parents of children with neuro-developmental and behavioural conditions.
Rachel also enjoys working with leaders and managers to improve their self-awareness, decision making and performance. This may include personality testing, strengths assessment and skills coaching to build awareness and confidence in the workplace. Rachel has experience working with boards, committees and organisational leaders to enhance their leadership skills and engagement. She utilises performance coaching and communication skill building within sessions. Rachel is skilled in assessing and supporting individual's strengths and talents to improve success in all areas.
Rachel has helped clients with a variety of concerns including anxiety, social anxiety, stress, adjustment, parental stress and interpersonal issues. She has extensive experience in psychometric testing and conducting workshops for organisations.
Rachel is committed to staying up to date with the latest developments in the field of psychology. She regularly attends workshops and training, and she takes a collaborative approach to working with clients, drawing on the latest evidence-based practices and techniques to create personalised treatment plans.
